 How Reflection & Contemplation Work Together.

Reflection & Contemplation come together to offer us a platform of trust and understanding from where we can communicate and action our vision.

Reflection means to turn, or to bend back. Through spontaneous writing (without the editor) and the intention to ‘let go', we increase self awareness - a vital key of emotional intelligence - and are able to develop a better understanding of our relationship to the world.

Reflection is a companion to Mindfulness, working with everyday experiences. Thinking about what we did in the past and learning from that experience brings us the wisdom and power to action ourselves in ways that support how we want life to feel. Reflection as a practice and skill hones our ability to navigate the gaps between theory and practice, encourages creative thinking skills and engages the process of learning.

Contemplation is a companion to Meditation. It is a purposeful attention that allows us to calmly review the reality that surrounds us. It includes deep reflection of ideas, relationships and offers us an opportunity to transcend the intellect through awareness.

Bottom line, how you ‘see’ is how you ‘tell’ your story and how you tell your story is how life feels.

Release it.

Make space to let go and spill all over the page. Learn the habit of journaling to relax the mind and open to essence.

Challenge it.

Build resilience and challenge beliefs that no longer serve the vision or mission that is calling.
