About this Course

This course and studio were created for someone just like you - someone who is asking important questions about life, feeling stuck, maybe suffering, or feeling lost …wondering if you are living your life or someone else's.

It takes a deep dive into the relationships between our thoughts, emotions & feelings - beliefs, behaviors & sense of belonging — psychology, neuropathy & biology - Being Human and Being all that longs to expand into the world.

It brings together the most powerful cognitive & spiritual practices - Meditation & Mindfulness - and scientific discoveries for the intention of Self-knowledge, Personal Growth, and the potential of Unity.

We begin with the fundamental understanding that everything in life is here from which to learn and grow - using all of life as grist for the mill. That means everything here right now - no matter “what” - is exactly what you need to begin.

You don’t have to change a thing, just come as you are.

Stop looking outside of yourself for happiness, peace, and love.

Start investigating and learn how to return to the many ways you already are what you seek.

How Mindfulness & Meditation Change Your World

The truth is simple, shifting perspective changes our world. However, we must be in our bodies for this shift to be accessible. That means getting to know yourself – this human and this Being navigating life.

The most immediate benefit of Mindfulness and Meditation is that we are connected with the present moment. Increased insight aligns us with the body and awakens new pathways of wisdom. Being aware of thoughts, body sensations, emotions, and beliefs offers us radical information that shifts the choices we make, and, in turn, how life feels.

The biggest obstacle to beginning a meditative or mindful practice is not knowing how or where to begin. The reality is that “what” you are is a Living Meditation – whole, available, loving awareness – and learning how to be still and be present with awareness is what radically shifts perception - invoking the loving Self (rather than a fearful ego) to lead - allows wisdom, truth, and consciousness to reach us.

Mindfulness and Meditation are not products to be sold nor a religion - is not up for institutionalization, though it is readily woven into the foundation of many. Mindfulness is a way of being in life without judgment but with a highly attuned discernment, cultivated and embodied attitudes, and skills of paying attention that return us to the deepest, most loving space within ourselves.

There are many individuals offering what is shared here, who often become too focused on selling results rather than on the knowledge and skills that put the reigns in our hands. We fall into the trap of intellectualizing our identity rather than embodying life.

The results embedded in this understanding support well-being: the ability to touch into happiness, peace, spaciousness, and love. The number one predictor of success is showing up – in this classroom, in life, and for yourself. Once you’re here, your participation aligns with all that follows and is in flow - it doesn’t have to be hard.

Attention & Concentration

  • When we pay attention to what we value in the here and now, we cultivate self-control and participate fully in life.

This includes improved academic performance, ability to resolve conflict, and overall well-being.

Regulation & Response

  • When the mind is Present, we are able to listen in deeply and respond from the desire to serve that need.

This includes decreased levels of stress, depression, anxiety, and disruptive behavior.

Resilience & Equanimity

  • When we are connected to our values, responsive to our needs, and patient, we come into flow with life.

We become compassionate, caring, curious, conscious beings sharing our gifts with the world.

The Studio is open to 10 Students who are asking fundamental questions of themselves (wondering how they fit into the world) and searching for personal meaning, freedom, and purpose, and for those who want to contribute overall to positive states of being.

It is for students that can commit to attending all classes as each is ascending and integral to the next.

About Me

AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER, I’ve been fascinated by the relationship of everything - what happens when one spontaneously comes together with another, what potential is hidden and in need of polishing, and how this new creation served myself and the needs of others.

It might be said that the greatest relationship is our eternal relationship with God or Self or our True Nature or whatever we chose to call the Eternal Laws that connect every human being on this earth.

And, externally, we might say its between the quality of our attention and the state of our mind - between our thoughts and our emotions.

This Curriculum is an Integration of this 18 Year Mindful investigation into the Nature of Happiness and the return to our True Nature.
